Class of 2023...
Here we are about to welcome another group of beginner adults in the the "real world". This is your last chance to add that twelfth year photo to the already full montage of class photos hanging in your hallway or hanging in the center of your gallery wall. This is by far the most exciting year of your soon to be baby adult's life thus far.
Their senior year of high school is likely the busiest and most EXPENSIVE year to date...amirite? There's Homecoming,(or as the kids say HOCO) with the dresses, suits, shoes, hair & makeup. Then comes Prom, again with the dresses and suits and shoes and hair and makeup, the flowers, the limo's, etc There's also the cost of the yearbook that they'll reminisce over for the next 10 years or so but then it goes right into a box. Then you have to pay for the cap and gown which will probably turn into a halloween costume at some point so at least you'll get another use out of it. Then we have the schools Senior picture day where you take the obligatory cap and gown portrait for the year book that you also have to pay for if you want that photo in print or digitally. And I'm sure there are another 100 expenses that I don't even know about. It's all so overwhelming, right? It's like you have to take out a second mortgage on the house just to afford this year. Let's not even talk about the years you spent planning on how you would afford collage. It's just a lot. I get it!
The average cost of Senior portraits here is the valley is A LOT! We're talking $1,000+ JUST FOR THE SESSION FEE. Who has that kind of money for PHOTOS?! I know I don't and I can tell you back when I was a senior, neither did my parents. I actually never even got to take senior portraits (I know, I'm sad about it too). There is good news though, There are a lot of affordable, quality photographers throughout the valley and I like to pride myself on being one of them.
Senior portraits are one of my favorite sessions because I love to capture your baby adults entire personality.
I will get to know your seniors and help them plan out a day of fun that showcases who they are.. I will work with you and your senior to plan out a session that is 100% unique to them. I'll provide you both the all of the tools and resources you need to make this session a success with photos they will be proud to share and you will be proud to display and it won't break the bank.
